(I hope this is coherent...It's about four AM here...)

Elz died today, July 5th. She'd been getting worse since she had a mammary tumor removed, and then a few days ago she'd fallen from the top of the cage - about four feet off the ground - and she must have injured her spine or brain. She wouldn't eat or drink, and then today she had a seizure. For a moment I thought she had died, but then she started breathing again. She was fine for a few hours after that, but then she had another seizure. That time, she didn't make it.

I can't believe she died so soon...she was barely over a year old. My other rat, Cody, who is much older still seems to be the healthiest - even with a mammary tumor. It's down to just her and Yuffie now.

Ellie only had one eye. She loved to explore the inside of peoples' mouths, and was probably the most hyper of all my rats. I'll miss her. :'(
